Following the earthquake of 6 April 2009, which affected the city \u200b\u200bof L'Aquila, the Italian Association for Creativity considered this city ideal and necessary to accommodate the "Celebration of Creativity," which in this context takes the value of a stimulus for a reconstruction of the creative and active citizenship. The festival is already in the program of the European Year of Creativity with the theme: "The earthquake does not destroy creativity umana, ma la stimola.”. La manifestazione vuole dare l’avvio a un movimento di pensiero creativo, che non si esaurisca con la festa stessa, ma che divenga occasione per i cittadini di riflessione.
Attuare strategie innovative di ricostruzione della propria città, delle relazioni, della cultura, dell’arte e di una economia responsabile, è l’obiettivo che ci proponiamo, ispirandoci ad esperienze di socialità condivisa come lo sono state quelle del terremoto del Friuli. Si vuole creare, dal terremoto, l'opportunità di un nuovo scenario di salute dove i saperi scientifici si confrontino e si integrino con i bisogni reali della gente. Ingegneri, architetti, urbanisti, sociologi, psicologi devono elaborare insieme il progetto del riabitare in un contesto urbano da ricostruire, ma in modo creativo e producendo un modello di relazioni intorno alla persona, nel rispetto della storia e della cultura e in armonia con l'ambiente e con la natura.
Principi e buone pratiche
Le buone pratiche sono da ricercarsi nei concetti di:
rispetto della natura, rispetto dell’uomo, della sua cultura e della sua storia, nella coscienza dell’uso delle risorse energetiche a disposizione della civiltà attuale, nel vivere creativamente le relazioni umane riconoscendo nella diversità “dell’altro” talenti, capacità e potere creativo.
La capacità di condivisione del Potere e di riconoscimento dell’altro svincola gli uomini dalla pressione ossessiva della competizione e dell’accentramento delle risorse realizzando relazioni creative e gioiose che danno valore alla propria vita e a quella degli altri.
La festa della Creatività si svolgerà in un’intera giornata il 16 luglio in occasione dei cento giorni dal sisma e si prevede una larga partecipazione di artisti, musicisti, disegnatori e attori presenti nel territorio, che s’impegneranno a sublimare in ogni forma artistica le storie e le speranze dei cittadini colpiti in questa tragedia.

The Day Centre of the Department of Mental Health ASL 04 of L'Aquila, in collaboration with the Teatro Dedalus, the Theatrical Company "The Drake" The Navel Theatre, and with the participation of young students of the National School of Arts and Street Theatre "Upside Down" and the public from the various tents in the city, will produce a theater project with the aim of allow more efficient processing of emotions that the tragedy has raised and transferred to a theatrical form in the stories and the great creative force that sparked the emergency.

Field of the globe has started a workshop coordinated by Isabella Nardis cartoon cartoonist formed in the Roman School of Comics. With
materials produced in this work will be staged at the Festival of Creativity an exhibition of cartoons on a DVD that will be translated by the Academy of Design in Turin to Rome and presented to the Palaeur 9 and October 10, 2009.
